China holds sustainability conference

Hosted by Wuhan Textile University, the conference for the international apparel and home fashion industry is scheduled for Dec. 13–17. It will cover sustainable product development, innovation and technology.  

The conference is supported by the China Textile and Apparel Education Society and will feature environmental protection design competitions and joint exhibitions of sustainable development design work between Chinese and British students.

Presenters include experts in the fields of textile recycling, knitting technologies, designing materials for a circular economy and waste processing, advanced materials and structures, sustainability in the fashion industry, among others.
