Polyfab distributes Lenzing Profilen thread

Lenzing Plastics named Polyfab USA as the Master Distributor of the Lenzing Profilen line of PTFE sewing thread for the shade, awning and marine industries in North and South America, a recent news release announced. 

According to Polyfab, Profilen PTFE sewing thread is UV resistant, flame retardant, resistant to highly corrosive environments and free of heavy metals, chlorine and plasticizers. The thread is also covered under a factory warranty for the lifespan of the fabric it’s sewn onto.

Profilen is designed for applications in outdoor textiles such as shade sails, awnings, umbrellas, and marine tops and covers.  

Polyfab USA manufactures and supplies fabric and supplies for commercial, industrial and residential shade sails and shade structures.
