Changes to Trend + Design Center for Outdoor Retailer announced

In the Industry | December 13, 2019 | By:

Outdoor Retailer’s announcement about the merger of Winter Market and Snow Show into Outdoor + Snow Show, January 2020 also includes changes to the fabric displays within the Trend + Design Center. The new focus will be on product categories and the functional qualities, according to a news release.

The Trend + Design Center provides education and enables designers to source component materials that make up technical elements of the outdoor market. The new focus will be on insulation, shell, base layer/mid-layer, and outer layer fabrics. Within each of those categories, fabric quality headings include sustainability, moisture management, breathability, thermoregulation, antimicrobial, and waterproof.

The FabricLink network and PROMOSTYL are assisting Outdoor Retailer in producing the Trend + Fabrics Display in the Sourcing Area. Changes being made to the center have in turn caused changes in submission guidelines for displays. Questions should be directed to PROMOSTYL and FabricLink.

Outdoor Retailer produces business-to-business outdoor sports shows where industry brands, retailers, representatives, designers, suppliers and leaders gather.
