Smart Fabrics Summit call for proposals opens

In the Industry | November 11, 2019 | By:

The Industrial Fabrics Association International (IFAI) has released a call for proposals for the 2020 Smart Fabrics Summit, April 16–17, 2020, in Washington D.C. The conference theme is “Ideation to Commercialization.”

The 2020 Summit will focus on bringing a smart product to market, from the initial concept, to development, to end product distribution. IFAI seeks proposals that demonstrate this concept or that will provide expert information concerning a part of the process.

Speaking at the 2020 Smart Fabrics Summit offers benefits for the presenter, including creating valuable and lasting professional contacts, and the opportunity to demonstrate your product or service to the industry. Presenters will receive complimentary summit registration, recognition on the SmartFabricsSummit.com website and in the conference printed program.

Criteria and process

Proposals are expected to demonstrate a presentation that will run approximately 45 minutes in length. Presenters can be individuals or a team. The conference will provide a screen, projector, laptop, podium, remote clicker and microphone. IFAI expects permission from presenters to distribute the presentation PDF (or a substitute document in lieu of the presentation) to event attendees.

Call for proposals closes December 5, 2019. Those submitting proposals will be notified by the end of January 2020. Speakers will submit final PowerPoint presentations by March 31, 2020.
