Stoll 3D flat-knitted seamless glove wins award

Flat knitting machine manufacturer Stoll recently exhibited at Techtextil and Texprocess, a Knitting Industryarticle reported. On display was the company’s 3D flat-knitted seamless glove, made in collaboration with Robert Bosch. For this innovation, Stoll and Bosch won the Techtextil Innovation Awards 2019 in the New Technologycategory.

The glove is made of sensor yarn to provide sensory and control functions on all fingers. The glove is designed to give wearers the ability to interface with machines; control movement in augmented and virtual reality applications; and gain rehabilitative health care capabilities.
