Loomia launches self-heating jacket for women

Loomia will launch its first direct-to-consumer product March 15, a women’s self-heating jacket that features Loomia’s wire-free, soft-circuit system. The slim-line jacket is designed to fill a market need for women, as most heated jackets on the market are designed for men and altered to make a women’s version. 

The company’s H1 jacket takes into account the research showing that women get cold more easily, and can appreciate a versatile jacket that can blend in for traveling, at work, or under a heavier coat for colder weather. 

Loomia is a women-led company is known for innovation in e-textiles and smart fabric and has been featured in a number of media outlets including Forbes, Good Morning America and Wired. Initially, the jacket is available for pre-order on the company’s website.
