The Lenzing Center of Excellence (LCOE) has opened at the company’s Indonesian location in Purwakarta. According to information released by the Lenzing Group, the center intensifies cooperation with partners along the value chain and increases efforts to jointly conduct research and develop new yarns. The LCOE provides laboratory and analytical facilities to conduct trials and analyses of various types of fibers and yarns.
“LCOE captures activities and innovation capabilities in the area of fiber to yarn. . . . I hope that this center becomes truly an example of excellence both in conversion technology and partnership with customers,” Vineet Singhal, senior vice president AMEA, says.
The facility is open for visitors from the whole industry. The Lenzing Group is an international company that produces fibers and filaments from the renewable raw material wood with environmentally friendly and innovative technologies.
