A recent release announced the introduction of Kentwool’s Sensationwool Sock, a therapeutic sock designed for the relief of foot pain. The new sock features the company’s combination of superfine Merino wool with Nufabrx nylon, which is infused with capsaicin and a synthetic cooling agent.

This combination of warming and cooling ingredients aims to provide temporary relief of foot-related aches and pains of muscles and joints associated with strains, sprains, arthritis, bruises, cramps, stiffness and soreness, an article in American Golfer reports.

Kentwool, headquartered in Greenville, S.C., claims the “World’s Best Sock.” The company says it leverages the attributes of wool, nature’s performance fiber, for comfort and performance.

Textile-Based Delivery Inc. is the maker of Nufabrx, a proprietary biomaterial platform that embeds active ingredients into fabrics; the ingredients can be programmed to respond to the body for dermal release.
