W.L. Gore & Associates Inc will showcase aerospace and defense textile solutions at the Farnborough International Airshow, July 16–22, 2018. A recent release states that Gore’s innovations involve combining dielectric expertise with fluoropolymer materials to create protection and safety for aerospace and defense applications.
The company will be showcasing GORE Military Fabrics for clothing and footwear created to offer durable, broad protection for service personnel. Gore will introduce the GORE-TEX PYRAD MTP Rainsuit, which it says provides waterproof, windproof, breathable heat/flame protection.
Also featured will be the company’s lightweight Uniform Integrated Protective Ensemble (UIPE-1) made with GORE CHEMPAK Selectively Permeable Technology, which provides a combination of chemical/biological (CB) protection and reduced thermal burden.
