PPSS Group’s cut-resistant fabric Cut-Tex PRO will be used in a new workwear clothing brand, CutPRO, to protect people working in the glass and metal production and processing industries.

A press release issued by the company says PPSS worked with a British university to design and supply the “ultimate cut-resistant garment design” for personal protective equipment applications.

CutPRO carries a rating of ANSI/ISEA 2016 Blade Cut Resistance Level A5 and, according to EN 388 Protection Against Mechanical Risks, rates at the highest levels of cut, abrasion, puncture and tear resistance, the release notes.

All CutPRO garments are produced within the European Union. U.K.-based PPSS Group is an internationally operating firm specializing in the development, manufacturing and supply of body armor, slash- and bite-resistant clothing, and now CutPRO cut-resistant clothing.
