Teijin Aramid Introduces flame-resistant Teijinconex

What's New? | October 18, 2017 | By:

Teijin Aramid has introduced a new flame-resistant fabric for workwear. According to the company, Teijinconex® single-layer fabric combines personal protection with performance sports textiles. The fabric is reported to quickly absorb perspiration without losing its flame resistance.

Designed for comfort and breathability, the fabric feels like cotton and allows sweat to move from the body to the environment via moisture dry release properties, and it is reinforced with Twaron or Technora para-aramid fibers for strength and durability.

Teijinconex is being shown at the A+A show in October in Düsseldorf, Germany. Teijin Aramid is a subsidiary of the Teijin Group and produces Twaron, Sulfron, Teijinconex, Technora and its ultra high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW-PE) Endumax.
