BeoCare and Fra Production strike up alliance

Italian Fra Production SpA has acquired a minority stake of BeoCare Group Inc., a manufacturer of knitted medical textiles based in Hudson, N.C. According to Textile World and BeoCare, Fra will be the sole European distributor for all BeoCare products, including seamless fixation pants, maternity and surgical garments, and elastic products.

BeoCare will be Fra’s distributor in the U.S. and expand its product range, by offering Fra products such as mesh fixation pants and the patented Surgifix tubular netting, as well as a wide range of bandages.

BeoCare is expanding its manufacturing plant in Hudson, so it can manufacture more mesh fixation products in the United States, under license from Fra Production. Both companies will continue to operate in their respective markets under their own brand names.
