Sympatex to introduce heating and lighting workwear

What's New? | September 30, 2016 | By:

German textiles company Sympatex Technologies® will present smart textile innovations at the Nov. 7-9 Expoprotection work-safety trade show at Paris’ Porte de Versailles Exhibition Centre. The company has a new heating and lighting system developed especially for use in jackets, waistcoats and gloves in the workwear sector.

The heating system contains battery-powered heating modules in different sizes that can be used flexibly, offering the wearer greater freedom of movement. They are invisible from the outside, easy to control and have multilevel regulation. They offer a quick heat supply to maintain a comfortable body temperature, particularly during work in freezing outside temperatures. The lighting system offers an improved view and visibility by daylight, at dusk and at night and features four light functions.

The company will also introduce corporate wear laminates made of recycled PET bottles and protective footwear made with Moisture-tech® by Sympatex. Sympatex Technologies’ high-tech wind- and waterproof materials are used in clothing, footwear, accessories and technical fields.
