USTER TESTER 6 wins Red Dot Design Award 2016

Swiss textile-standards monitor Uster Technologies’ new USTER TESTER 6 has been awarded a Red Dot Design Award 2016 for its blend of functionality and distinctive looks. The sixth-generation USTER TESTER incorporates the USTER QUALITY EXPERT, offering accurate laboratory test results; this data is combined with real-time information from yarn clearers monitoring 100 percent of mill production.

The Red Dot Design Award is an international product design and communication design prize awarded by the Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen in Essen, Germany.

More than 5,200 products from consumer electronics, furniture, jewelry and watches to interior decorations and lab technology from 57 countries were nominated; the awards will be presented July 4, 2016.
