Safe Reflections opens new Taiwan HQ

Industry News | September 14, 2015 | By:

Safe Reflections—St. Paul, Minn.-based developer of enhanced visibility and reflective solutions for the occupational safety, consumer active wear apparel and military training markets—has opened a new headquarters for its Asia business unit in New Taipei City, Taiwan.

The new facility is located in the Tucheng District near the Taiwan Textile Research Institute, putting Safe Reflections closer to major fabric and garment trim suppliers, as well as local Safe Reflections customers.

The new facility will be used as a sales office, wash-testing lab, material warehouse and a reflective converting facility for the company’s reflective trims, rolled goods and logo heat transfer business. The company expects demand from Asia to drive additional job growth in St. Paul. The facility is being commissioned in a phased approach, with all operations in place by January 2016.

Safe Reflections converts reflective material for the world’s leading manufacturers of uniforms, safety clothing and athletic apparel. Its patented line of Brilliant® colorized reflective trims, transfers and fabrics offers clothing designers options to integrate safety and fashion.
