Sympatex launches Seamless Climate Technology

What's New? | September 9, 2015 | By:

Sympatex Technologies, Unterföhring, Germany-based developer of high-tech functional apparel fabrics, will introduce a further development of its Sympatex Climate Technology at Milan’s winter Lineapelle, an international exhibition of leather, accessories, components, fabrics, synthetics and models slated for Sept. 9-11.

Together with its longtime Italian distribution partner PIDIGI S.p.A., Sympatex will present high-performance technologies as well as the latest laminate developments in footwear.

Based on a highly functional technology, footwear producers can now offer laminated knitted legs, which are 100 percent waterproof and windproof, as well as breathable.

The seamless leg, taped with just one seam to the heel, is available in a variety of colors and knitting patterns. The material mix of the 100 percent recyclable Sympatex membrane and the hydrophobic, knitted upper offers allows a year-round use.

Sympatex develops, produces and distributes membranes, laminates and functional textiles as well as finished products worldwide. Its membrane is breathable, wind- and waterproof, is 100 percent recyclable, bluesign® certified, and has received the ÖekoTex Standard 100 certificate. It is also PTFE and PFC free.
