Textile specialists Sympatex Technologies presented numerous combination possibilities from its product portfolio at the ISPO (International Sporting Goods Trade Show) early in February. The ecological alternative among functional textile specialists, the company headquarted in Unterföhring, Germany, offers a sustainable material mix, different treatment options and individualized backings and tapes. Its new Digital Sales Tool offers simulations to enhance customer meetings and was used for the first time at the show.
In addition to its Performance and Windmaster product lines, the company will also feature its Allround and Performance Plus offerings. They offer a differentiation among several performance levels and will be featured in a new hangtag concept to be introduced in 2015. Sympatex will also introduce a new advertising campaign, “Protect what you love,” focusing on climate change and its negative effects on winter sports at ISPO 2015.
Sympatex supports the Samaya Project, which highlights sustainability and the role of mankind in nature. A film featuring the results of the first Samaya trip was shown at the company’s booth and in a photography exhibit at the ISPO Outdoor Lounge. The company again will be the title sponsor of the “Trail of Change,” a long-term scientific expedition of geomorphologist Hannes Künkel of Third Pole and his investigation of the effects of climate change on the Himalayans in Nepal.
