OMsignal has Biometric Smartwear available

What's New? | August 11, 2014 | By:

OMsignal has introduced Biometric Smartwear shirts for men designed to monitor activity, physiological stress and fitness levels. Health sensors embedded into the fabric measure biometric data in real-time and relay information to the wearer’s personal dashboard on the OMsignal app. The app translates the users’ unique bio-signal to help the wearer improve health management and meet fitness goals, tracking heart rate, breathing rate, breathing volume, movement (including steps and cadence), movement intensity, heart rate variability and calories burned.

The shirts also offer wellness insight, such as breathing balance, personal Fuel and RPM. OM Fuel tells how much energy the wearer has in reserve before running out; OM RPM shows the level of focus and physical stress in real time; the OMsignal app offers suggestions on how to manage and improve both metrics to perform better throughout the day. Information is immediately relayed from the shirt through the little black box (that clips to the shirt) to the phone via Bluetooth.

Additionally, the products are compression garments with moisture wicking and odor-resistant (anti-microbial) properties. At launch, four styles for men were available.
