Switzerland-based International OEKO-TEX Association and ecVision of South Iselin, N.J., will participate in a panel discussion at the American Apparel and Footwear Association’s (AAFA) 3rd Annual Traceability Conference July 9 in Portland, Ore. The event, “Ensuring Transparency and Traceability in the World’s Most Complex Supply Chain,” will focus on building partnerships with downstream suppliers to improve implementation of effective quality, sustainability and regulatory compliance programs.

Panelists will discuss systems to increase visibility and communication during the material and product development processes, third-party testing and certification, and cutting-edge technology that can facilitate data sharing and create higher levels of mutual transparency and traceability.

OEKO-TEX and ecVision recently announced a partnership to integrate OEKO-TEX certification information into the product data available for the companies around the world who use ecVision’s supply chain collaboration platform. Representatives of both companies will be at the Portland event to discuss the details of this new alliance.
