Sigmatex announces a 2.8 million euro investment program following Q2 2014 information.
The Multi-axial investment program includes another state-of-the-art Liba Multi-axial line, which is further enhanced by a dedicated Meyer powder coating line incorporating infrared heating and a belt press, to enhance the company’s nonwoven fabrics position.
The woven investment program includes the addition of a number of new Dornier looms to supplement Sigmatex’s current production capabilities and additional new Dornier research and development looms, as well as a significant investment in Open Reed Weave technology that will provide multi-axial weaving capabilities.
The investment in capital equipment is being supported with a significant investment in people representing more than a 20 percent increase in operational staff into the Runcorn, U.K., facility.
