Nashville, Tenn.-based Bulwark and Milliken & Co. of Spartanburg, S.C., have partnered to develop a new line of flame-resistant apparel that offers new levels of comfort along with safety. The Bulwark iQ Series featuring a proprietary polyester blend fabric offers protective garments that are light, breathable, fashionable and comfortable to wear for workers and linemen in the electric utility, oil and gas, emerging energy and NFPA 70E (electrically safe manufacturing) industries.

Bulwark’s Amplitude G2 fabric protects polyester yarn from melting while providing protection from electric arc and flash fires. The fabric provides increased breathability, moisture wicking, light weight and comfort, improved strength and abrasion resistance for greater durability, enhanced moisture management, less wash and thermal shrinkage and better color consistency for overall uniform appearance.
