During the two-day event, 36 presentations will be made. The conference provides plenty of opportunities for the speakers and delegates to interact during scheduled breaks.

In addition to the opening plenary talk, three keynote presentations from leaders in the field will cover multi-functional textiles for military, Biax Fiberfilm meltblown technology and functional mosquito repellent finishes.

Additional sessions will deal with new developments in natural fibers, composites, functional finishes, sustainable textiles, dyeing and finishing, sports textiles, technical textiles and quality control.

The conference will also provide timely information on value-added textiles spanning the fiber to technical textiles supply chain. The organizers hope that the two day event will enable transfer of research ideas and spearhead the growth of value-added textiles sectors.
