Peter ter Horst appointed CEO Teijin Aramid

Teijin Aramid has announced the appointment of Peter ter Horst as the company’s new president and chief executive officer beginning April 1, 2020. Ter Horst succeeds Gert Frederiks who will continue in an advisory role for one year. 

Peter ter Horst joined Teijin Aramid in 2006. He has held the position of chief financial officer at the company since 2011 and held strategy and controller positions previously.

Director, Marketing and Sales Erik Delnoij and Director, New Business Ton de Weijer will join ter Horst as corporate officers at Teijin Ltd.

Teijin Aramid produces aramid high-performance fibers at production locations in the Netherlands, Thailand and Japan.
