Toung Loong Textile creates new line using INVISTA technology

What's New? | August 7, 2017 | By:

According to INVISTA, Taiwan’s Toung Loong Textile is launching a new line of fabrics consisting of a blend of INVISTA’s COOLMAX® AIR technology with LYCRA® fiber. The fabrics are specifically designed to meet the needs of women’s fitness wear.

The high-performance fibers are engineered to maximize consumer comfort with moisture-management performance, breathability and fast drying times. The high air permeability results in the exchange of the microclimate, adding the potential for additional cooling.

The companies’ latest innovations are responding to market drive. INVISTA reports that according to research from Euromonitor, sportswear grew twice as fast as the overall industry in 2016, and is showing no signs of slowing down in 2017.

The company, a producer of chemical intermediates, polymers and fibers, is currently working with dozens of strategic fabric mills in Asia, including Toung Loong, a company with 30 years of expertise in yarn texturizing.
