Ahlstrom-Munksjö awarded EcoVadis Gold

Ahlstrom-Munksjö has been awarded a Gold rating by EcoVadis following the assessment of the group’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) engagement.

EcoVadis assesses performance improvements of four CSR components: environment, labor practices, fair business practices and sustainable procurement. The Gold rating places the company among the top 1 percent of suppliers evaluated across all industries, a press release from Ahlstrom-Munksjö reports.

Ahlstrom-Munksjö was formed on April 1, 2017, through the merger of Ahlstrom Corporation and Munksjö Oyj and deals in fiber-based materials solutions around the globe. EcoVadis CSR scorecards help procurement teams monitor supplier environmental, social and ethical practices across 150 purchasing categories and 110 countries.
