Ehmke Manufacturing Co. Inc. receives Boeing award

Ehmke Manufacturing Co. Inc. has been named 2016 Boeing Performance Excellence Award Winner. The Philadelphia, Pa.-based company was recognized for its support of the Boeing Defense, Space & Security Division, specifically the Boeing H-47 Chinook and V-22 Osprey programs. Ehmke provides engineering, manufacturing and installation support for the design and fabrication of the acoustical insulation blankets that are installed in each military aircraft.  Ehmke has maintained a 99.92 percent Quality Supplier Rating and 99.72 percent Delivery Supplier Rating with Boeing.

The company was chosen from an international supplier base of approximately 13,000 companies and recognized by the Boeing Company at its 2016 Boeing Global Supplier Conference held in Dallas, Texas in April.

This year, 481 suppliers achieved either a Gold or Silver level Boeing Performance Excellence Award. Ehmke is among 402 suppliers to be awarded the Silver level of recognition and was previously honored as Boeing’s Global Supplier of the Year in 2002 and received BPEA awards in 2007, 2008, 2010 and 2011.

The company specializes in the design, fabrication and installation of a diverse selection of technical fabric items for the U.S. Military, defense contractors, OEMs and industrial customers.
