LEGO-compatible tape introduced

What's New? | March 30, 2017 | By:

Design studio Nimuno has created a LEGO-compatible tape that turns everyday surfaces into LEGO building surface. The tape, called Nimuno Loops, is flexible, can be cut, and features reusable adhesive backing. Users can build vertically, around wall corners, on curved surfaces or windows, or on the flat surfaces of other LEGO blocks.

After more than a year of research and development, Cape Town, South Africa–based designers Anine Kirsten and Max Basler came up with a prototype for the Nimuno Loops. The Nimuno team predicts their product will appeal to the creativity of young and old alike.

Nimuno started a campaign to fund the product and had an original goal of $8000. So far the campaign has reached $1,339,872 raised by 34,825 backers, Indiegogo reports.
