Coats Signal reflective tapes promote safety

Coats Signal, by U.K. yard and thread producer Coats, is a range of reflective tapes for workwear, protective clothing, apparel and accessories. When illuminated by a light source, the product helps to enhance visibility at dusk, at night or in difficult weather conditions. In combination with fluorescent elements, the tapes should improve daytime and low-light visibility, the company reports.

For both domestic and industrial use, it’s is available as sew-on tape that can be applied to apparel, luggage and travel goods, fashion accessories, uniforms and workwear. The retro-reflective material comes in fire-resistant and flame-retardant tapes, as well.

The reflective tapes are also available as transfers that are applied by using a heat press. They can be laser cut and customized for designs and logos for workwear, uniforms, sportswear and children’s apparel.

Coats Signal piping and elastic products may be applied to a range of garments and fabric types. Both piping and elastic products can add safety and design elements to sportswear, fashion wear and children’s apparel.
