Nanotex introduces durable wear technology for apparel

What's New? | September 19, 2016 | By:

Fabric innovator Nanotex®, which provides nanotechnology-based textile enhancements to the apparel, home and commercial/residential interiors markets, has introduced its Nanotex Durable Wear technology for apparel. The patented technology is modified at the molecular level to resist wear and prolong cotton and cotton-rich life by offering abrasion resistance and strength protection durability.

Nanotex, based in Bloomfield Hills, Mich., said its product is being used in a new line of children’s clothing called Cat & Jack™, launched over the summer at Target.

In August, Nanotex and Cotton Incorporated, the research and promotion company of U.C. cotton producers, announced Nanotex Dry Inside technology for cotton apparel. The technology enables moisture transfer away from skin, eliminating dampness and chaffing, in 100 percent cotton apparel.
