Dept. of Commerce promotes U.S. companies at Land Forces 2016

The U.S. Department of Commerce’s Office of Textiles and Apparel (OTEXA) has announced that 15 U.S. manufacturers of textiles and apparel for military, defense and security will be featured in its sponsored sample booth at Land Forces 2016, Australia’s land defense exhibition and forum for Australia, Asia and the Indo Pacific September 6-8 in Adelaide, Australia.

In 2014, there were more than10, 450 visitors and 464 exhibitors from 22 countries. Currently the Australian Army is undergoing its largest transformation in the last 50 years, which makes exhibiting at Land Forces 2016 an opportune way to showcase U.S. products and innovation and form relationships with the land defense community.

The 15 U.S. companies participating in the OTEXA sample booth are: American Cord & Webbing,  Bernard Cap Co., Bondcote Corp., Brookwood Co. Inc., CTF Enterprises,  Danner, Inc., DivGel™, Diversified Gel Inc., Eeonyx Corp., Higher Dimension Materials,Inc./ SuperFabric® , Kappler Inc., Kirintec Inc., Magic Textiles, Navajo Fabrics, Propel LLC and 3M™ Thinsulate™ Insulation.

The event will feature the U.S. International Pavilion organized by Kallman Worldwide Inc. The Pavilion functions as a destination for buyers seeking to meet U.S. industry leaders and can generates exposure for U.S. innovation to spark new business relationships.

OTEXA provides export promotion and marketing services to U.S. textile and apparel exporters to help develop and increase global sales.
