The World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) and the Changzhou (China) National Hi-Tech District’s Textile and Dyeing Industrial Park will implement a series of innovative approaches to water management to boost social and economic sustainable development and gradually turn the Taihu basin into a model of proper ecological management and governance.

The project is expected to increase the efficiency of water-resource usage, reduce water pollution, and arrange industry clusters in an effort to establish a greener and healthier ecology across the Taihu basin and transform the park into a model for green manufacturing.

The joint project of the Jiangsu Development and Reform Commission and WWF aims to boost social and economic sustainable development, and over the course of the next two to three years, work with major industries and industry parks to adopt innovative management and governance models.
