Herculite acquires Strataglass

Emigsville, Pa.-based Herculite Products Inc. has acquired Strataglass LLC, based in Fort Lauderdale. The agreement was announced May 8.

The acquisition continues Herculite’s efforts to be a total solution provider in each of the markets it serves. “We are excited about the addition of the iconic Strataglass family of custom-engineered solutions to Herculite’s wide range of industry leading brands,” Herculite President Peter McKernan said in a press release.

Herculite produces high-performance awning and marine fabrics; Strataglass makes coated press-polished, clear vinyl sheets that are engineered to be scratch resistant, durable and to block out nearly 100 percent of the spectrum of harmful UV light.
