The Aposematic Jacket is a wearable, self-defense, surveillance system designed by Shinseungback Kimyonghun, a Seoul, Korea-based artist group formed by Shin Seung Back and Kim Yong Hun.

The well-tailored, interactive jacket is equipped with an assortment of tech features that could aid in preventing possible theft or assault, including a built-in-security alarm that the wearer can press. Integrated into the coat are a Raspberry Pi computer with a series of different-sized lenses, each paired with its own miniature camera; a Wifi module for transmitting information to the Internet; and a battery pack for powering the device.

The jacket is capable of recording the scene around the wearer in 360 degrees and sending the images to the web via Wifi. The lenses on the jacket can also speak, announcing, “I can record you” as a warning signal.
