Climashield tapped for Beyond Clothing survival gear

Clinton, Tenn,-based Climashield has joined outdoor-apparel maker Beyond Clothing of Seattle to produce the AXIOS Cold Jacket and Pant set that incorporates Climashield’s continuous filament insulation.

Serving a variety of functions, the AXIOS Cold Jacket and Pant allow the wearer to move and work in a cold environment while retaining body heat. The set can also act in place of a sleeping bag in mild climates. With the ability to discard moisture via Climashield’s AquaBan technology, users can apply the Cold Jacket and Pant on top of wet clothing and let their body heat dry out everything. The AXIOS collection is engineered for use as a system, with each piece complementing the layer beneath.
