Italy’s OutDry Technologies Srl has won the SATRA PPE Award for Best Innovation in Security and Emergency Response personal protective equipment (PPE) and the SATRA PPE Innovation of the Year for its firefighting gloves. The awards recognize PPE products, components and processes that push boundaries in technical innovation.
The SATRA PPE Awards recognized the Fire Flow Outdry Glove (Firefighter), a protective glove designed and manufactured by Italy’s CREATIVE Srl and equipped with OutDry membrane lamination technology. The glove meets a variety of high European safety standards and features resistance to perforation, tear, blade cut (on palm and back), abrasion, fire, convective-radiant and contact heat, chemical liquid penetration resistance, durable waterproofness, high breathability, precise fit, and a high dexterity level. Its combination of the shell and lining materials with OutDry technology provides comfort in and protection from extreme conditions.
