Safe Reflections awarded USAF contracts

Industry News | May 23, 2014 | By:

St. Paul, Minn.-based Safe Reflections has been awarded two contracts totaling $3.5 million to provide reflective material for U.S. Air Force training apparel. The contracts represent the latest in a series of partnerships between Safe Reflections and UNICOR, which manufactures wearables for the U.S. military.

The U.S. Air Force will use Eclipse reflective logos for its physical training shirts and trunks. The reflective logos are made using 3M Scotchlite reflective material and the company’s own Tribondex adhesives to produce a custom heat transfer application for low-temperature and high-stretch fabrics, allowing the fabric to move with the garment.

Safe Reflections is a provider of reflective solutions to the occupational safety, consumer active wear and military training markets.
