German knitting-machine manufacturer H. Stoll GmbH & Co. KG has named Andreas Schellhammer CEO, effective Feb. 1, 2014. He replaces Heinz-Peter Stoll, who recently announced his retirement.
Schellhammer joins Ralf Fritschi, Günter J. Raitbaur and Dr. Sven Wünsche on Stoll’s executive board. For the preceding year, he was Stoll’s chief technical manager for development and production, following years in product development and production processes.
Based in Reutlingen, Germany, the family-owned Stoll was created in 1873 and has 1,000 employees worldwide. The company specializes in developing and manufacturing flat knitting machines and pattern software used to manufacture fashion, industrial and medical textiles.
